Weight Loss Is a Mind Game.

You underwent Lap Band surgery; that is great! The challenge now is to be wise about your diet. However, the whole issue is not only about what goes into your mouth, but also about what you have in your mind. A  good plan of few steps could help you maintain a good shape and win the battle of weight loss.

First, start with an act: throw away your unhealthy food, buy a pedometer and attach it to your belt, opt  new running shoes. These acts show that you are ready and you are now more likely to follow your plan.

Second, make a commitment. Say I’ll increase my daily services of vegetables and fruit. When you make a promise you have no choice but to follow. Now you are going ahead with your plan and there is no way to go back.

Third, don’t limit your weight to a specific number. That would keep you living under the stress of maintaining the same number. Instead, choose a range since your body weight fluctuates naturally. For example, when you eat salty food, your body tends to keep more fluid temporarily. The same thing happens to the woman around her period. So, concentrating on a single number would do nothing but frustrating you.

Finally, be ready to accept some failure; it is a temporary change in direction that sets you straight for your next success. You know that success doesn’t come the easy way, and the real success is your mental insistence that you will go on with your plan. However, if you succumbed to the first failure, you would probably lose the battle fast.

All in all, you maybe realize now that weight loss is not only about  what you have on your table or in your mouth, but also what plans you have in your mind.
